Modern technology invites us to cozy up on our couch while checking emails or host a video conference in our home office. In kitchens, the Modern Farmhouse style encapsulates the desire for comfortable spaces with its elements of warm wood tones and painted finishes mixed with metals. Shiplap, typically on walls or islands, is also a common element in this style in addition to rustic materials or weathered finishing on furniture and decor.
